At this time, Heart and Soule Speech Therapy, LLC is accepting private pay only. The private pay model allows the SLP to provide services tailored to the exact needs of the child and family without restrictions put in place by insurance companies. This model allows the SLP to provide consultations, family support and education, home programming, and direct and indirect services that are individually designed to best suit the needs identified. However, we are also acutely aware of the economy at this time and that private pay may be challenging for many families. For this reason, Heart and Soule will provide a “superbill” for families upon request. This “superbill” is a detailed invoice that can be submitted to insurance companies by individual families for reimbursement. Private pay therapy would be considered as an “out of network provider” by your insurance company. Each insurance company handles this differently, so it will be important to call your insurance provider to gather this information if this seems like a reasonable option for you.
